Exterior. Avant Garde / Contemporary: The exterior is covered with Scandinavian Redwood tongue and groove (T&G) cladding as standard. Cedar cladding can be provided at extra cost for a true designer look. Traditional: The exterior is covered with horizontally positioned pressure treated Feather Edge Pine boards which can be left to weather naturally or painted or stained to the colour of your choice. Scandinavian Redwood, Thermowood (heat treated Redwood which results in a more stable, longer lasting cladding) and Cedar Shiplap cladding is available at additional cost.

Interior. The interior is lined with white coated MDF for a clean bright look or can alternatively be painted to a colour of your choice on request. Skirting boards are fitted as standard. The walls are insulated with high performance waterproof insulation which provides a high thermal resistance. Wireless motion sensor alarm with x 2 remote controls included. Roof. Avant Garde / Contemporary: Maintenance free one piece EPDM synthetic rubber membrane laid on 11mm external grade OSB base. Estimated life expectancy 50 years. The roof space is insulated with 50mm of Celotex insulation. Traditional: The roof is made of heavy duty Finnish made Katepal Super Jazzy brown octagonal asphalt shingles as standard, laid on a base of 11mm external grade OSB board covered with a breathable membrane. High quality Canadian Cedar shingles can be provided at an additional cost for a more traditional look. The roof is insulated with double sided aluminium foil insulation and incorporates cavity spaces to aid keeping in warmth in winter and cool in summer.

Doors. Our doors are house quality British Standard and are supplied double glazed. We provide timber doors as standard, uPVC is also available and we can quote a price for these on application. We can provide single or double opening doors (French) in timber and single, double and sliding in uPVC. We use high quality solid brass hinges for our timber doors and supply a BS approved 5-lever lock with two keys as standard.
Windows. Opening windows are house quality British Standard, double glazed and incorporate trickle vents to aid ventilation and are supplied by a market leading UK manufacturer. Lockable window locks are provided as standard, key supplied. The standard windows are timber, but we can supply uPVC if requested.
Frame. Our frames are made of pressure treated sturdy 47mm x 75mm FSC approved softwood battens and are glued with high quality D4 grade waterproof resin and hand screwed for additional strength. We don't compromise our frame quality by using nails. As part of the specification a breathable membrane covers the frame structure which ensures a moisture resistant and draught free building.

Floor. The floor is made from solid 18mm external grade OSB3 board screwed on a pressure treated 47mm x 75mm frame. The floor is insulated with 50mm of Celotex insulation. Electrics. Electrics are included. As standard we supply a RCD consumer unit, and at least 6 recessed low voltage adjustable down lights in the Avant Garde / Contemporary, 1 x light switch and at least 4 double sockets, depending on building size. 1 x light on centre cross member is supplied in lieu of down lights for the Traditional model.
