Cotsmill was started as we felt that although there are now a large number of Garden Office/Studio manufacturers and retailers many are of standard design, expensive, or of a certain quality which we felt we could improve on.

We offer tailored and personalised buildings using high quality components, built as you would expect - to last - and caringly crafted but importantly provided at affordable prices. For example many of our competitors use nail guns to build frames with no glue, we use exterior quality glue and screws and hand build our frames to an exacting specification.

The Environment

We actively support the environment wherever possible by recycling any waste in our manufacturing process and purchasing our wood supplies that conform to The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification which enables us to buy our wood from well managed forests which are not contributing to global forest destruction. FSC certified forests are managed to ensure long term timber supplies while protecting the environment

In 2010 as part of our environmental policy we have started planting two trees for every office we manufacture through The Woodland Trust. An industry first.
